Sundara Rajan is the Registrar and Chief of Staff of Krea University and IFMR. He joined IFMR in September 1990 and has over 28 years of experience in Administration and HR. He was promoted as Registrar of IFMR in 2008. In this capacity he acts as Executive Secretary of the IFMR Society Board and other committees of the Board. He is also Chief of HR and heads the HR function of Krea University. He is the primary contact person between Krea and IFMR Research Centres for all policy related matters. As Chief of Staff, Sundar closely works with the offices of the Vice-Chair of the Governing Council and the Vice-Chancellor of Krea University and as such responsible for overall administrative and personnel matters of Krea and IFMR.
