Objective:

Create a modular furniture collection that integrates traditional Indian craft techniques with modern design, offering flexibility for contemporary living spaces.

Deliverables:

• Craft Research:
  • Investigate Indian crafts (e.g., wood carving, inlay, weaving, metalwork) and identify elements suitable for the collection.
    Deliverable: A report on selected crafts and their potential applications.
• Mood Board:
  • Develop a mood board combining Indian craftsmanship with modern aesthetics, including color palettes and materials.
    Deliverable: Digital/physical mood board.
• Design Collection:
  • Design a cohesive set of modular furniture pieces (seating, tables, storage) incorporating craft details.
    Deliverables:
    • Conceptual sketches.
    • 2D technical drawings with dimensions.
    • 3D models for visualization.
    • Material specifications

Design Considerations:

• Modularity: Easy assembly and reconfiguration.
