Kajal manages the overall incubation centre, including monitoring of start-ups, interfacing with the stakeholders and providing industry connects.
Prior to joining Catalyst AIC, Kajal was working with the BalaVikasa International Centre, Hyderabad, where she assisted in the SocioConnect project which aimed at building a networking platform for social entrepreneurs.
Kajal pursued her MA in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship from TISS, and BA in Sociology from Delhi University. During her Masters she developed a strong affinity for social work and innovation. As a part of her internship programs, Kajal has worked with UNICEF for their UReporter Initiative and with Delhi Government on a substance abuse project. Kajal’s passion made her volunteer for various reputed NGOs such as Becoming I Foundation, Umeed, and AIESEC.
She has also worked as a community manager with Pee-Buddy, a women’s sanitary device startup.
